Playing with stuffed animals and having someone else "voice" to talk to is often a great outlet for a child, as he or she can discuss his or her deepest fears and feelings with a stuffed bear or bunny.

Dollhouses, dolls, or other construction-type toys are also excellent ideas for play therapy. This allows the child to generate and exist within a distinct realm, if only for a few minutes.
